DiKuBi-on
Online laboratory for digital cultural educatio
The project conceives social media as a cultural educational environment that provides not only new opportunities for interaction and participation but also brings forth new forms of aesthetic articulation (forms of self-expression). At the heart of the investigation is the dissemination and negotiation of cultural forms of expression in the everyday use of social media, accounting for the individual, cultural, and technical conditions under which these unfold. The project uses participatory methods to actively engage people from various age groups – experts in their own practices – in the research process and to work with them to document and reflect on their everyday forms of use. The results of this process will be made available to other researchers and interested members of the public in the form of an open research archive.
